A Possible Electric Short?

This all started about a week ago. I would notice that while driving, my radio would "beep" and then turn off. I couldnt turn it back on. I had to wait until it "beeped" and came on again. I also noticed that for a while I had no radio control from my steering wheel. To make any audio selection, I had to utilize the knob.

Fast forward to last night. I was driving and I noticed that my head lights flickered, followed by the beep and then my nav screen went black. This all lasted for about 1 sec and then everything went back to normal.

This is becoming more routine and its bugging me. Is anyone familiar with this issue?

Loose battery cable. Most likely negative.

corrosion could be a sign of a loose connection

Yeah, which is why I replaced it. It doesnt corrode anymore so Im assuming that the issue is something else. I did notice that it gives the most problems during the mid-day. 100 plus degrees and my radio acts an a$$. Im kinda leaning towards the battery now.

So the connections for both negative and positive cables are secure on both ends, i.e. all four connections? There should be no movement of the cable on the terminal.

Yeah it was the battery. The negative terminal was leaking which caused the corrosion and the electrical randomness. After I replaced the battery, everything was fine.

Please help with slowly dying battery on 2005 RL.
Battery unable to crank up by end of day, by 2nd day totally dead. Live in Fargo, very cold lately, park outside at work, in garage at home.
1. Acura dealer in Minneapolis said HFL module went bad, replaced $850, good for 2-3 days.
2. Local auto shop said parasitic drain from autostart, 1.5 Amps, unhooked it, again good only for 2-3 days.
3. Battery replaced last year.
After reading this thread, noticed my negative terminal was loose when jump starting.
Welcome any suggestions, ? bad fuse, ? worn out wire, ? bad battery
Wife's car, she is pretty upset finding out car doesn't start after work when temp is 24F.

Giong to replace battery today. Hope they can replace the terminal too or tighten it good. New battery might be cheaper way to try than pay $100+ diagnostic fee each time.
