Has anyone experienced the following?

My 2006 RL's nav traffic system works as advertised except for a half dozen or so accidents that appear at exactly 5508 miles from my location.



Selecting the #2 accident from this list produces the following:

 

Yup. I get the same message in the San Francisco Bay area when the accident or incident is I think more than 100 miles from where Iam. It is also 5508 miles with the same message.

 

Yup. I get exactly the same thing. I noticed this the first week I had the car and shrugged it off as a bug.

 

It looks, to me, to be a test message they snuck into the production system hoping no one, or very few would notice. There is no detail (street name) information in that message. If I am correct, you would think they would just put in the text 'TEST'.

 

The good news is that the accident will probably be cleared before you get there, since it is 5500 miles away!

 

That is pretty far away since the continental US is 3000 miles end to end
