Two quick questions:

I have a 2006 RL. Will the dealer notify us when a new DVD becomes available for the navigation system?

Does anyone else have problems entering addresses that are on US highways, .e.g., rt 46? It would be nice if the system would sort locations by the car's destination.

Uhhhh ... did you mean "sort destinations by the car's location"? Actually it kinda does that, in that it starts with the assumption you want a destination near where you currently are.

As for the other, I've noticed the Nav system does use an odd protocol for state highways. In Texas, for instance, it assumes every numbered highway is "TX---". So, even though we refer to it as "State Hwy 183", the system wants to call it "TX183".

Try using that approach and see if it doesn't help.

And no, the dealer won't normally advise you when new Nav DVD's are available.
