I went into the diagnostic screen just now to tinker with something and when I came back out, the car refuses to search in Oregon when looking by Places or Address. It has to be told to look in this state which it has never done before.

I looked through the diagnostic menu again to see if I might have accidentally flipped a switch that caused this but could find nothing to indicate that. I also set our home address here in Oregon and it continues to insist on searching in California.

Has anybody had this problem with the nav defaulting to California? If so, how did you solve it? Thanks.

 

Well I figured it out.

Apparently something I did reset the system. I found this out when I entered a destination and the screen told me the system needed to be calibrated and to 'drive for a while'.

A quick 10-minute drive later and it came around. Everything's fine now.
