Nav Problems - Lost my stuff

After getting my car out of Vista Parking in Newark last night all of my XM, AM & FM presets were gone. Not a giant deal. What is, is that my Navi Address book is gone and not available as an option to start again as well as the Go Home feature. If this has been asked about before I apologize but I did search. Anybody know anything? It was the coldest night of the year the night before and the RL (2005) is always garage kept but I can't believe it is that.

Thanks,

Don

Sounds like it is not recognizing the Driver 1/2 key fob, like it is unlinked. What does the MID show, Welcome, or Welcome Driver 1 or 2. Try to lock and unlock the car with the fob and try again. Also, there is a procedure in the owner's manual to link the remote if it became unlinked. I think you press lock and unlock at the same time.

It's probably not the battery, especially if the car started up OK. Try relinking the fob by pressing lock and unlock simultaneously. Same thing happened to me when my car was at the dealership for a week a few months back. All of my memory settings and presets were gone when I got back into the car when I picked it up - I kept pressing the "1" button like an idiot and nothing happened. I realized I needed to relink the fob and everything was fine.

My screen just says Welcome. No driver number. I tried pressing the lock & unlock at the same time before entering car and after it was started. Neither did anything to allow me to get to my address book or home. Any other ideas?

Just a guess but I might disconnecting the (ground cable) battery on the car. Then reconnecting and try again

I still say the remote is unlinked. Press unlock & lock at the same time to link/unlink the remote.

I agree with GoHawk. The little red light will flash twice if it's linked and long flash when linked or vice versa. It tells you on the back of the remote. Then use the remote to lock and unlock the car, the MID should say "welcome driver 1 or 2" when you turn the ignition switch.

I had the same problem this morning as well. Car was in the garage all night, this morning when I pulled out to go to work, all XM presets were gone. I'll try to re-link, per the suggesions given.
