change 07 compass elev. from mtrs. to ft.

This is for a 2007 base non-nav RL

Does anyone have any info on this book shows elev in ft. tried the compass, menu, cancel trick; no place to change...

yes only on 07 non-nav, just trying to help out a buddy who wants to change his elev. from mtrs. to ft.

Did you try the Setup button in the lower right of the center stack? That would be the natural place to go, but it is also true that the 2007 manual shows no option to change to feet from meters. GPS uses metric units natively anyway, so it may not have the conversion to feet. Since it is a Japanese Alpine unit, and every place else in the world uses the metric system, it may not be an option.
