has this happen to anyone? like when i was looking for Acura dealers in the nav system, and i use thed option "sort by distance" and the whole thing just freezes, and i can only go to the audio, info, and AC option. the map and everything can't be displayed. it happened more than just once. so basically, i have to turn off the car for it to work again. any help?

 

Yep, seen it. Not very often, though, but it is thoroughly annoying, especially when you're on the road and can't really pull over to turn the car off/on to reset it. Ask your dealer if there is a software update available. I got my Navi updated once and it seemed to take care of most of those freezing problems.

My NAV locked up once similar to what you described. I too had to turn off the car to reboot the NAV. . . My occured while driving and trying to locate a specific store thru the NAV menus.
