Moonroof and battery level
Yesterday the one touch pressing of the moonroof switch we all enjoy with the RL, stopped working - as you can imagine, i was pissed.
Called the dealer to make an appointment and this is what the tech told me to do:
1. Start the car
2. Press and hold the moonroof switch to the first click and hold until the moonroof opens all the way and you hear the relay "click" - count to 3
3. Press and hold the moonroof switch to the first click and hold until the moonroof closes completely and you hear the relay "click" - count to 3
4. The one touch worked again.
He advised that when the RL senses the battery dropping below a certain level, it begins to "shut down" features it considers non-essentials. I asked him for a list of what the car considers non-essential, but he didnt have it handy at the time.
