I have a 2005 RL and would like to replace my stock reverse and fog bulbs with LEDs.

If anyone can let me know which type of bulb to buy that would be great!

Be aware that unless you are going to get some high power LEDs you are going to loose all of your function. That's probably not a big deal for the fog lights, but I like to be able to see when I back up at night.

I think Austin Schmidt is asking for "rear fog" LEDs.

They don't seem to be replaced sepetately.

 

I know what you are talking about, but we don't have those here in The States.

Plenty of people replace their reverse lights with LEDs that are bright enough to be useful. I was just pointing that detail out.

So, what do you do in heavy fog and rain?

 

Rear fogs are not available in North America. I looked into this mod for my RL but to me its kind of pointless. I never understood why they are necessary. if its heavy fog and its raining out, you would turn on your lights, which it turn would turn on your rear driving lights so what is the difference of having a third light on other than for reassurance? I guess it shines brighter than the driving lights but none the less its an extra light. I'm not knocking it as i put one on my accord but mainly to be different.

 

No, its a law here that in the rain/fog you must turn your headlights on... but most people do not.
