right on, good luck.

If yours doesnt work, see if they will sync a new one as a test... then try to buy it used.

OK guys problem solved!!!!! After just fifteen minutes the service manager returned to the very elegant waiting room and asked if I just purchased the fob which I responded yes. He then stated that the problem was that the fob was not programmed to the car. After about five more minutes I reciever bothe fobs in working order and all is well. They did charge me a base rate for programming $90 inuding taxes wich I gladly payed to have my precious in 100% working condition. Now I will contact that other fraudulent dealer and seek a refu d for their failed attempts to program the fob half assed. Problem solve

Glad Toppatop got his FOB1 working. That gives me hope. Will be a couple of weeks before I can get to the dealer but will report back afterwards.

Sounds like they just programmed the fob again! $100 is the normal fee that dealers charge for programming.

Was the first dealer that programmed the fob an Acura dealer? I would have gone back to them if they did it the first time!

Yes they are an acura dealer. The reason I didn't go back was because they tried to make it look as if my fob which I purchased from eBay was defective after three unsuccessful attempts to program the fob. After taking it to another acura dealer and successfully programming the fob I returned to the original dealer and politely demanded a refund. I'm expecting the check in the mail tomorow. All is well.

Sorry it took me (the OP) so long to get back to everyone. It took forever for me to get to the Acura Dealer and get this fixed. My one FOB was just bad. Acura Dealer (Acura of Athens, GA) replaced it for free. Now everything works fine with both key FOBS (driver 1 and driver 2).

Also, they took the driver's door panel off and found a wire loose for the memory seat function. Now that is also fixed.

Thanks to all. Glad to be a first time Acura owner and member of this forum.
