Does the ipod integration kit (for an '06 RL) work with the 3g iphone?

Also, is it pretty easy to install the kit yourself? Thanks.

 

Assume you are talking about integration with the audio system and not the built in HFL, with which some have reported issues...not sure if they have been solved or not with software upgrades

There are several kits that link the iPod into the audio system. Integration is in the eye of the beholder. Most allow at least steering wheel volume control and source switching, and limited track switching.

Turned out to be a moot point for me. Stupid Hawaii models didn't come with XM until 08... so I had to buy the musiclink and will just have to control the ipod by hand..
