Intermittent "Continue Trip" on Navi?

Intermittent "Continue Trip" on Navi?
We will have a destination set on the Navi. Sometimes when we turn the ignition off and back on after a brief stop for gas or food the system will ask us if want to continue to the destination. Other times it will not and we have to rest the destination from the "previous destinations" list. Has anybody else experienced this?
