HFL memory question regarding the pause function
HFL memory question regarding the pause function
Hey guys, I just bought a 2007 RL and I'm new to this forum. I did a search on this topic and couldn't find the answer so here goes....
I'd like to program the phone number, access, and security codes into the HFL memory. Doing so would require use of the pause function. However, I tried inserting the pause but it doesn't seem to work. In fact, I even inserted 3 consecutive pauses without much luck.
Has anyone had any success with the pause function?

I have not been able to get the pause function to work either. For some reason my HFL VR does not recognize "#'.
But the way I have gotten around it is to make entries into the HFL address book for the Security Code and Access code.
To make a call the flow is:
<Call 'Voicemail'>
When the call pics up...
<Dial 'Access Code'>
Press and HOLD to SPEAK HFL button...do not wait for the confirmation: "Do you want to Dial 'Access Code' ?"or the system you are calling may time out.
<Dial 'Security Code'>
Again press and HOLD the HFL SPEAK button until you hear it dial.
You should get connected that way.
Again, the tricky part is the system you are calling into may time out. So to get around the HFL readback / verify, just press and HOLD the HFL Speak button.
Give it a try.
