Worked fine today. Went out to make a trip into town and a NO GO with the HFL. Push the button and no beeps. Phone still shows it is set to link but cannot link.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the world of Blue Tooth. In my business, I sell one device with a Blue Tooth option and I will not support it.

Try unpairing (should be able to delete the car from the phone and the phone from the car - see the manuals) and pairing it again.

 

I went out and cleared my phone. Then put it in discovery mode several times. It does not pick up a signal from the RL. I have an appointment to get it in.

Nothing shows, no change.
Still under warranty.

 

It turns out that the HFL control module failed. Dealer is next day airing (?) a new piece in.

 

Something like this happened to me a month or so ago. I ended up removing the phone and adding it /pairing it again but I think I probably could have just turned my phone off and on again and it would have worked. I think it was the bluetooth on the phone side not HFL.

 

HFL replaced and I am good to go now.
