Finally Shipped the DVD/NAVI ROM to Alpine

The wifey's 2005 NAVI unit has been out since Sept. As a result, no air or heat since you can't set the fan speed.

About 20 minutes to pull the unit, and it should get to Syracuse by this coming Thursday via UPS. I figured with the Thanksgiving holidays coming up, I may get it back by the end of the month if I'm lucky.

At $358, turns out being the easiest Christmas present yet by avoiding the mall.

I haven't been to Ramblings in a while. Have you had anymore dog call warnings?

Why didn't the "Auto" mode work? From my understanding, the climate control is an independent system that can accept input from the navi, but doesn't have to.

He's gotten more tame over the last year and 1/2 and I've quit drinking... so a little of both and more of one after removing my gallbladdder.

Your Auto mode may have some merit. The fan quit about a month before the NAVI took a dump. I have a new blower motor. They are pretty easy to install. I may drop it in tomorrow and see if Auto will blow some air.

Thanks

Glad to hear.

My wife had her gallbladder out at the end of Sept., and she can still drink the same. Are you having problems with it or just cutting back for health reasons?

Lastly, I am so freaking happy to be in the SEC now. USC looks good this year. Should be a good game next year.

I can still drink, but I lost about 80lbs in the process before getting it removed, and I just don't want to put the weight back on via alcohol.

Great win for A&M! SC had a decent year, but a rough schedule. Should have beaten LSU. UF was no excuse... looked like a high school team playing. But that 1 loss on UGA's schedule dulls the pain alot. We should be headed to two 11 win back-to-back seasons.

Thanks again for the A/C Heat heads-up.
