So I got a GROM adapter (for dirt cheap). Installed it last night.
I should note that installation was a piece of cake - had a couple of beers in the fridge, expecting this to a be at least an hour long job, and was done with the install before I finished my first beer! haha.
Anyway, my big issue is that the volume is ridiculously low. At "40" (max) the ipod volume level is like all other audio sources at "20". Any thoughts? I did turn off the ipod's eq, volume limit and sound check. It's a 120GB ipod.

You could try an inline pre-amp. You'd have to figure out where to hide it, and you'd have to wire it for power.

When setting up is there an output mV setting? When I had a DICE unit in my TSX I had to set up the output voltage to .4 mV to get the volume to be loud enough.
