OK...I've read the manual, but can't seem to find, or figure out, how to delete "Previous Destinations" from my Navigation Screen. The system saves your last fifty destinations but sometimes I wish to "delete or erase" previous destinations. Has anyone successfully gotten rid of "Previous Destinations" - If so, how did you do it?

IMO, in the setup menu (Navi category), you should see "Delete Previous Adsress" feature. Once clicking, you should be able to delete all previous addresses or any particular one. For example, in 3G TL Navi, ppl could hit "setup", "page 2", and "Delete Previous Address".

 

Hahahaha - Now that was ugly CGTSX2004, shame on you! Actually, I'm trying to hide my trips to your girlfriends house...Heheheheh

 

Make sure you choose "Done" using the knob or your previous destination won't be deleted.

 

Along the same lines, does anyone know how to delete an address from the "Address Book"? I can't seem to find any prompts or anything in the owner's manual.

 

Go to SETUP, under personal information...you will find an option to erase previous destinations...

I was at a CHP event where they got leads from reading previous destinations in the navi. Oh, and if you guys ever trade, erase that Homelink too.

 

Address book, HFL, homelink, home address, dialup. Everything

 

Still waiting for someone to figure out how to delete addresses from the 2005 RL address book. Please help.

To DELETE an address - suggest this sequence:

Nav system powered/operating.
Nav display = map (good starting point).
Press: Setup button.
Display changes. Top right corner is the More triangle.
Press KNOB controller to right, display changes.
"Personal Information" will be Line 1.
Press KNOB controller in (ENTER) display changes.
Various items are available - Address Book will likely be default (outlined).
Press KNOB in to ENTER.
Display now has your address entries.
Rotate selector to address for deletion (outlined).
Press KNOB in = ENTER.
Edit options now display, one being DELETE (at right center).
Ensure outline is on this choice.
Press KNOB = ENTER.
Display now asks; "Do you want to delete this address?"
Default outline is on NO (last salvation!), but you want YES.
Rotate selector... Press KNOB (you've learned, ehhh?).
