Hey folks,

Just a little while ago, the GPS/radio display did not boot up when I started the car. The radio works fine but nothing else. Normally, when you push the map, audio, or info buttons, you hear a beep. Nothing.

Any ideas?

Never mind, I figured it out. Pulled the battery cable off, put it back on, started the car, and put the nav code in. Works now.

 

When did you last get a new battery?

 

im having the same problem i have an 06 rl but i notice the connection on the nav unit in the back is loose like it not getting a good connection if i touch the connector it would come on and off. do they sale a different connector alone for the unit?

 

Sounds like "energy saving mode" on, when battery is weak. Check the battery.
