I just purchased an 06 RL. The previous owner used a PIN to access certain voice control commands.
How do I delete the old PIN (factory default, no PIN) so I can access all functionality.
This is not the NAV or audio security codes.

 

I just learned from Acura Client Service that the system must be cleared by a dealer and cannot be done by the owner. I suppose I could check Service Bulletins.

 

The local dealer cleared the PIN so I now have access to all the voice controlled functions. I'm sure it's going to take a while to learn how to use this to maximum benefit.

 

It make sense that the dealer has to delete the PIN. I don't want my home address exposed if a thief breaks in!
