This is my first time here. I just purchased an 05 RL. I amt the second owner. Nice car! My question is, how do I delete old messages from the list. My car has a couple of messages from 2006 and I have tried to delete them but even though it says that i have deleted them, the messages are still there. The messages are for maintenance and AFS. Both are fine. Thanks guys.

 

I'm sure there is an easier way, I just had the dealer clear mine.

They didnt charge me.

You can try to reset car ecu by taking connectors off the battery for about 15 mins. I'm not certain if that would affect the NAV unit though. Plus make sure you have all your codes available, so you don't lock yourself out of address book and radio.
