My friend with an 05 RL was unable to get it to pair with any phone he had tried. The dealer disclosed this before he bought it so it's more a challenge than anything else since he's fine to use his existing BT headset...

I also went through the setup with 3 different devices (Nokia, Motorola, and Blackberry) I have and in every case the car recognizes the phone (and each phone recognizes the car "HandsFreeLink") but when the Acura system asks you to "name" the phone, no matter what you say/speak it just disconnects you from the voice system and then says no phones are paired.

And it seems you don't have the option to NOT name the phone to complete the pairing.

Any ideas?
