Blackberry 8703e and HFL

Just purchased a Blackberry 8703e with service with Verizon and had no problems pairing the phone but it cycles from connection established and connection lost. Anyone solve this issue. Thanks!!!!

i have the same phone on sprint and it only happens sporatically, i think it's when you have a third part app (mine is JiveTalk) that maintains a constant signal with a server (other than your push email) what I've done in the past that alleviates it immediately is cycle bluetooth on and off, an then it's back to normal. I'd get rid of the program causing the interferences but I use it way too often, and it only happens to me once in a great while. (maybe once or twice a month)

another way to fix is dial out from your phone, and then transfer it to HFL, it wont cycle after that.

good luck

The most common cause of this with Blackberry devices is adjusting the Bluetooth settings on the phone for the connection. Once paired, use your jog dial to select HandsFreeLink. Then adjust the settings so that the connection is trusted and select encryption off.

The older Blackberrys seem to work but the 8703e has a problem. Two friends with this same phone and Acura's are having the same problem. Anyone solve this problem

it really isn't an issue (at least for me) it happens so rarely that it's never really been an issue. I had more problems with my samsung a900, and my treo more than I had with my blackberry. I can honestly say it's been the best phone that I've used with my HFL.
