Cool Blackberry 7130e from Verizon

Hey everyone....new to this community. I just bought a Blackberry 7130e from Verizon and it paired to my 2005 RL without any issues. Signal and battery display, however i came across two issues and was wondering if anyone else has or knows of a solution:

1. All outgoing calls are not picked up by HFL.....you have to manually "transfer" the phone call.

2. Tried connecting to Acura Server using:
Name: Verizon
Dial String: #777
Username: 123456789@vzw3g.com (cellphone number. Case sensitive)
Password: vzw (case sensitive)

When i try to connect, the phone reboots.....tried it 3 separate times and no luck.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.......

Joey

Welcome to the forums!

1. It is a problem with the software in the phone, there is no way to fix it unless you get verizon/RIM to release an update.

2. Sorry, can't help here. I don't know if dialup is enabled on the phone.

Answer to my second point:

Tethered Connection

Can I use the 7130e as a Modem? Yes. The BlackBerry 7130e is Tethered Broadband Access capable.
What do I need to use my BlackBerry device has a Modem?
To use your BlackBerry as a modem, you must first contact Verizon Wireless and have your device provisioned for Tethered Access modem service. Once provisioned correctly, you must install the following software:

BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.1 found here: http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/

VZAccess Manager for BlackBerry found here: http://vzw.smithmicro.com/download/

Once you have installed both software items, connect the 7130e BlackBerry device to your PC or Laptop computer via the USB cable included with the device, open VZAccess Manager and select “Connect WWAN”.

This tethered service costs $15/month here in NJ......
