Backup Camera DIY help please

05 RL
Bought Dom's unit yesterday and picked up an audiovox camera at circuit city for $65 (hoorah for 155 store closing)

I've been at this since 10:30 pm last night with no breaks.
Took trunk apart, installed the camera and unit and only thing left is wiring issues
I need help identifying where to tap into to give the unit its 12V
I need help identifying which wire is the reverse light. I was able to isolate a plug on the left that controls the reverse light and the brake light but I don't know which one of the 5 is for the reverse light.

Lastly I need help in figuring out which wire to tap on the trunk lid to give the camera its 12V

I need sleep so thanks in advance
Oh and I'm getting a msg saying DRL off
Any ideas why that will happen all of a sudden?

Thanks again
Sleep is calling.

Since the nav unit and screen is on in Acc I, I tapped power for the interface from the purple wire on the big harness that originally plugged into back of Nav unit. It is a small diameter wire, but I was able to use a T-tap with no problem. Just peel back the harness cover a few inches.

Power for the camera and the trigger wire comes from the reverse lead. The factory manual says it should be brown, but it was not on my harness. I just pulled the d/s assembly out and used a meter to verify the hot reverse lead, and used a t-tap there as well. There is a ground post in close proximity there as well.

The "DRL Off" message usually comes on when the parking brake is set.

dude thanks a bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i literally went to walmart and bought 2 12V batteries to tape to the camera and unit until i could figure it out. Then I thought better and ended up disconnecting the camera and the unit and putting the trunk back together. i'll try your suggestions this week.

thanks to drolds for the help!
all that is left is for me to run a fuse connector between the 12 v power supply and the units power wire.
