Audio/Music Balance Question

Audio/Music Balance Question
Question for music lovers in the RL. When the balance is in the middle, does the music sound like it is more "right side" based than balanced? This seems to be the case in my car no matter the source and it drives me nuts. I have to have the balance 3-4 clicks to the left of center before the music has a balanced "soundstage". This is with the center channel off or on. Is it because the right speakers are aimed directly at the driver and the left door speaker fires directly into my leg or is something wrong with head unit and/or speakers? Thanks Acurazine.

Did you try different single positions like front left alone, then front right alone, etc. and see if all are the same?
To make sure your back left is ok as well as front, or left tweeter...

Yes I did. They sound like they are all the same volume when tested individually like that. I don't know if its just my ears or i'm just critical about sound, etc. In most of the cars I've had, the balance only had to be adjusted 1 notch left or right, if at all. I take you are not experiencing this "out of balance" issue?

Not really. But again, I had my front left not working for a bit, and I could barely feel a difference. I thought maybe the front center and rear center, along with all the rest, makes it hard to notice a big difference when one particular corner's weaker.
