AcuraLink and Treo 650 (Sprint)????

I see in previous (fairly old) threads that people have tried (unsuccessfully) to get their RL's AcuraLink to work with their Treo 650 phones. I haven't been able to get it to work either, and I'm just wondering if anybody has had success yet.

I just got my RL 2 weeks ago, and I'm lovin' it. I've had the Treo for 7 months, and love it too. I just wish my 2 toys would play well together!

(My Treo 650 is Sprint, with software upgrade 1.12. Works great for HFL calls, and signal strength shows in MID. I guess I shouldn't complain, as even these functions seem like magic to me!)

I'm with you on that too. I wish that the Acura Link would work. Being that usually its the "business' professionals that drive the RL along with a Treo 650, either company being Palm or Honda should have something working. I hope that they at least are aware of the issues.

Bluetooth patch for treo 650

Check out Palm.com

They've been busy making software patches available to increase compatibility with auto bluetooth systems, including Acura.

I just downloaded and am happy to say I downloaded on Friday and I now have Handsfree back with my 650!

The patch is a great fix that added the reception icon within the MID. But have you tried syncing with the AcuraLink Server? That is where I am having trouble.

That is also where I'm having trouble. I can make and receive calls just fine, and I have the signal meter on the MID (no battery level, but that's okay with me). I'd like to be able to connect to AcuraLink, but have not had any luck with that.
