2007 RL schizophrenic clock

Our car has no NAV unit, but I believe it has GPS as it always knows where it is. Clock has worked just fine, but I think I had to reset it for Daylight Savings time. I did that this year and no problem, except a few hours later it was back to No DST (one hour back). Well try again. Works fine for a few hours then one hour off. Came back a few hours later and now the time is correct. DST time or not, that is the question. We had the airbag recall and the service guy said he would reset the clock for us. OK, but guess what....same problem. Asked if there was a way to change DST on/off and he said NO.

Anybody have any ideas?

There is a setting in the navigation submenu for auto clock adjustment. My guess is it's probably on and that's why it keeps going back.

I had the same thing. The owner's manual is the Codex Gigas, so I ain't got time to scroll through that thing.. Turns out I had un-paired my Driver 1 key by playing with it trying to get all the windows to roll down like a youtube video I saw.. Re-pair the key to the car and the clock will return to normal and you'll get your XM presets back.

I have a 2008 RL compass car that I did the same thing where I held the lock and unlock buttons to roll down my windows. Instead of rolling down the windows it beeped and reset a few things like my clock. I am in the EST time zone and my clock jumped ahead 4 hours. I went into setup and changed the time back to est time. I turned the car off and after restarting the clock is correct for a few seconds until the compass screen shows and time goes back to 4 hours ahead. I have tried re-pairing the car to my key remotes and that did not work. I unhooked the battery and reset everything where i had to re-enter the radio code. The compass needed to reset but that did not work. The acura dealership said to unhook the battery and use a wire and connect the pos and neg battery cables so I did that and waited 10 minutes as suggested and this did not work either. Am I just stuck with a clock that is 4 hours ahead? I hope someone has a remedy. thanks...
