I just bought a new 2007 RL Tech about 5 hours ago after totaling my 2006 last month. The price sticker reads "HandsFreeLink telephone interface with Phonebook Exchange.

There is no reference to the phonebook exchange feature in th owners's manual. The sales guy also could not find it in the menu on the car.

Does anyone know how to use this feature?

 

I saw it in the 2007 MDX I had as a loaner a couple of weeks ago. I think it's in the setup menu. There was a selection called "Bluetooth Phonebook Upload" or something like that. I tried it with my phone at the time (RAZR) but the phone didn't support it.

 

Can't find it in setup. I'll have to check with Acura

 

Sorry for the bump but I'm looking for this answer too....I know TL's can do it but can RL's have a phonebook from my blackberry transferred to the Navi?


Really the only reason it matters is if I can dial the contacts by voice dialing but I'm not sure if you can.


Also, it said that my phone has successfully connected to the acura server or whatever...what does that mean?

 

2008 and earlier RLs do not support phone book transfer from any phone.
