Can anyone tell me if the Blackberry Pearl is compatible withy my 2005 RL using Cingular? I've been on www.handsfreelink.com but the phones are very limited.

Has anyone had really good luck with any phone using Cingular service?

Welcome to Acurazine!

The BB Pearl is listed on handsfreelink.com as the BB 8100 (it's actually the Pearl 8100) and is noted as being "in testing". Hopefully someone else has tried it in their RL and will respond further.

I've got a Blackberry Pearl/8100 on Cingular, and it works well with my '06 RL's HFL, showing both signal strength and battery level. I previously had the BB 7290 and it worked equally well. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks for the help. I got one and it works fine. Easy link up, signal and battery bar, clear voice.

A nice phone etc as well.
