Hi,
I just purchase an 09 RL without the technology package. I am wondering that if I buy the Navi white DVD would allow me to use the Map? Also can someone point me to the right direction on how to upgrade with the new DVD.

My son tried to load a new DVD and turn the car off while it was downloading the software. He even tried to stop the download by removing the positive battery connection. Now it completely screwed up the Navi. Now I could not get into the diagnostic screen. I followed the instructions posted using MAP/CANCEL/MENU and it keeps coming up with check the dics. Please help.

 

I read carefully https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=838626 - Post 13, the author did mention that it is easy to upgrade the DVD to navigation. He did not go into details how to. Could anyone has done it before give me some insight?
