Would someone tell me what is going wrong with the 05RL air conditioning? I have seen comments but no explanation of what is actualy happening to the system.
Is Acura correcting this problem free of charge? and although my air is functioning OK is there a good reason why I should have it checked out. I am some 160 miles from the dealership so I do not want to make a trip unless it is advisable. Up to now I have not heard from the service manager about this problem.

 

There was an issue with the A/C compressor in some '05's. If your's is "functioning OK,", I doubt the dealer will fix it since there's nothing to fix. Are you the first owner? If not, it may have already been dealt with. Call the dealer. He can tell you if it's been fixed.
