Hi Everyone- first time posting

One of my headlights has started flickering and I'm guessing that its about time to replace the bulb... at least i'm hoping that its only the bulb.

Has anyone tried other bulbs besides the Honda replacements, ie PIAA, Phillips, etc? I figure if they're going to last for 3000 hours i'd better get the best available while i'm replacing them.

Also- are there any threads that provide instructions for installing new bulbs?

Check out the Acura Service News. A flickering headlight may NOT be a bulb, and may be something to be fixed under warranty. Unfortunately, too busy to search for it myself.

 

is known problem with 05-06 rls it took my dealer 3 attempts to fix it. go to the dealer. my dealer acura of avon will fix and are aware of the defect

 

If it does happen to be the bulb, look into KAIXEN D2C (works with D2S and D2R) bulbs. They are great quality and they offer 5000K bulbs, which are closest to OEM.

Thanks for all the reply's. I'm thinking that I may just take it to the Acura dealer to have the flicker fully diagnosed before replacing the bulb only.

 

anyone needs a set of kaixen 8500K d2s bulbs? i have a set for sale in the black market used for a week
