WOW RL Pricing

Stop by my local Acura dealer to turn in my 06 RL and they were offering the 09 RL at 41! TL 31, and 34 for AWD TL. TSX was priced at 28 with navi. Truly the time to buy if you are looking for a new Acura. These prices were at Radly Acura in NVA. I coul d learn to like the beak at those prices!

Pricing is similarly aggressive at Pohanka, in Chantilly, VA.

Interestingly, my salesman told me he is selling more pre owned certified than new, and they just bought a load, something like 21, MDXs, from Radley to add to the Pohanka CPO collection. Their particular deal at this time is their 2008 TSX loaners, 12-14K miles, 22-23K. In addition to the 4/48 new car warranty, they add a year and 12K so you effectively get a 5/60 warranty. Not a bad deal. The TLs and RLs were much higher priced, of course.

The RL, they say is a great car, that no one knows about or seems to want, except for discerning owners such as me. (He was trying to butter me up to buy another car!)

I'm new to the forum, I do not own an Acura (I'm in college but I am an Acura enthusiast,) but would like to see what you guys think about this pricing. My grandparents are thinking about purchasing an '09 RL and after a week of talking with the dealer, this is the best deal they could get out of them.

'09 Acura RL with Technology Package
Alberta White Pearl with 815 miles (dealer owner has been driving it some)
MSRP: $50,660
Dealer Price:$47,900

The dealer is offering 10K on their 2003 Cadillac DTS, I feel this is still a steep price especially since the RL has been sitting on the lot for over 2 months and is probably going to stay there too.

What do you guys think? The dealership is ORR Acura of Shreveport, LA

Fuhgettabouttit. Way too high. There is very little demand for the RL unfortunately. About $40-41 is reasonable, and understand there will be a huge depreciation hit regardless. One member is vacillating about buying a used 2005 for $15,500! And you are talking about the one with the beak.

i agree....way too high. I got a quote of 43 and change on the first call for a tech package on an 09.

I don't know about that Cadillac trade in pricing.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I totally agree the quote is too high (I personally would have taken 44K for it.) But that is as low as they are willing to go, and when the topic about dealer holdback/market support was brought up the saleswoman replied with "I do not think that is still in effect." BS! Anyway they live more than an hour from any other Acura dealership so I have a feeling they are just gonna stick with the caddy for a little while longer.

I wouldn't mind getting a new 09 TL awd to replace my 05.. it is too rattly...if I could find it for 34K.. that is pretty low.
