Just curious.... would anyone who got 05-08 RL change out the door arm rest to match the 09+ RL (with door pocket handle).... I check the parts and cost it'll cost ~$260.... is that a good deal? yes? no? do it? not do it?

if you're bored you can do the reverse HID mod. Reverse LEDs make less light than stock bulbs...been there, done that, twice.

Not I. I'm used to the reach by now, and the door closes very easily with just a gentle tug.

Replacing the panel just wouldn't be worth the money, time, and the potential to break something just to get a pocket handle. Nothing ever goes back together the same way.

if i was going to spend money on the interior - which I'm not..... but if I was.. I would do the wood trim like the 09+... someone here did it... it looked like it was NOT a direct swap, and required some customization to make stuff fit..but if you got the wood down on the cupholder area, gearshift area, and the non-gated shifter...that would look slick!

i like the 09+ with the wood steering wheel and on the lower part of the dash..looks more upscale
