wood shift knob types

Hi,
I'm looking to replace my shift knob to a wood one but it see like there are 2 types of shift knobs. I've got this one:

Does anyone know where to find it? All I can see on ebay is the other type:
http://www.socal28.com/rl/05_rl_all_wood.jpg

btw. I have mixed feelings about center console plood. Does it look real or much like a plastic. It feels like it's too much wood when I try to add it in as well...

The first is for the MMC. It doesn't work with the 2005-2008 MY. The second is the factory option RL knob. It's what you should want.

Fair enough. I guess that's a good enough reason to excuse your English.

I was actually talking about the first post, and no, it wasn't that bad. It was actually much better than a lot of Americans who don't speak any other language.

I'm just giving you a hard time.

Since you seem to have the MMC shifter and you can't shift with the knob, can you shift with the paddles in "D"?

If you are looking for the first knob, search for 2009+ RL parts.

I have the wood shift knob for a 2006 RL, which is pre-MMC. I like the feel and I believe it is real wood. The 2006 still had real wood on the dash and the wood shift knob is a perfect match. I think adding more wood to the center console would be overkill.

The knob is real wood, but the console trim from the MMC is not. the 2009 RL didn't have any real wood except for maybe the little piece above the coin tray.

No, I can't shift with the paddles in "D" but our variation of the shifter allows us to shift with the knob. In "D" you can push the knob to the right for "M" - manual and then you can either use paddles or the knob to shift.
