quick question.... is it possible to wire radar detectors or other electronic device in place of the On-Star.... I don't use those buttons at all..... Just want to make good use of those buttons like make it turn on/off radar detectors. etc.

 

Great mod idea Phil, however I'm not mechanically inclined to do such a huge modification, but that would sure make great use of the NOstar feature.

 

I am one of the few who has used ONSTAR and was rescued by it.

But I also like calling everyday and asking for 'Suzy'. She is always pleasant to me, even if some days her voice is deep and low.

I figure if I have not yet gotten a restraining order....Suzy is good with it.



But without ONSTAR, it would make a good Ejection Seat Button. Or Photon Torpedo Launch Button. Or maybe it could be used to summons the Death Star? Maybe even a frikken' Laser Beam fired from the Shark Fin?

I'm going to mod my 1st gen RL's onstar and convert those to bluetooth controls

 

I have to do some research Ken....but I am not sure Bluetooth can yet be used for missile launching capabilities. Might I suggest a controller for your trunk mounted drone?

If Speed Racer can have one...so can you.

 

Maybe someone could mod the buttons to open/close all windows at the same time?

 

how about the turbo boost button like knight rider...... 'super pursuipo KITT'........ and u'll c a flying RL that jump over traffic...... oh wait, u also need the running red LED lights in front that looks like scanner...... too bad my car is not NBP:P

must be nice to have a warm sexy voice to get u through the lonely time in RL.... that is the coolest mod I've ever seen..... that's another fine example of sex sells
