Why am I seeing more 4G TLs on the road more than the 2G RL?......Now it cannot be the styling of the vehicle. The RL styling is magnificent. Probably it is still the price. What do you guys think?

 

I haven't seen a single 4G TL on the road here in Cleveland.

Just so you know, the TL is usually Acura's biggest seller, so you are bound to see more of those on the road at any given time. The RL is a low-volume seller, so you will see very few on the road.

 

For the same reason that you see more Lexus ES than Lexus GS/LS....the volume of sale.

This was bound to happen anyway as TL is always a high volume seller than RL. However if you are seeing more 4GTL this soon after its release then Acura has again a winner in the new TL.

 

You also can't miss the new TL while you can miss the 2G RL. You may also be seeing a few TSXs and even an '09 RL. I've had to look at new TSXs a couple of times before realizing they weren't TLs. Also, I was at the dealer the past saturday. They had about a bazillion TLs, a number of TSXs, and exactly 2 RLS.

i like knowing that only a select few chose to drive an RL. even though audis and bmw and lexus cars are nice, i see entirely way too many of the same models over and over again. i like having an exclusivity factor.

 

In the last month I have seen 1 4G TL and 0 RLs but normally I never see the RL anyway.

 

I usually see several RLs on the road in a given day. I've only seen one 4G TL on the road since it went on sale, and it was last Thursday evening when I saw it. The new TL doesn't seem too popular around here yet, even though it seems like every 5th car here is a 3G or 2G TL.
