Should I buy the Acura Care warranty at the local dealer or online. The price difference is about $250. If I buy it online, will my dealer try to not honor it because I did not get it from him?

If it's an official AcuraCare warranty, your dealer will honor it. Plenty of us here have bought theirs online (I bought 2).

You may want to give your dealer the opportunity to meet the price.

If you are going to buy online, you need to do so before 11/2/09. Honda/Acura has decided (again) to cancel Internet sales of Honda/Acuracare warranties. Daggonit.

Think fast! I'm having to purchase a warranty for the wife's Pilot well before I planned to because of this.

Here is a question.... if we cannot buy Acura Care warranty over the Internet after Nov 1st, can we buy it over the phone?
What if i call a dealer out of state who has a much better price than a local dealer, i pay with my credit card over the phone and he/she sends me the contract? Would this be acceptable?

I suppose that would work. You'd probably have to call around to get the best deal.
