Nothing, because I find it distracting. And I wish that there was a way to make it go BACK to showing nothing (well, it shows outside temp and Trip A, but that's it) when I'm done checking something.

It scares me that there's people out there who ride around watching their MPG meter, or worse yet, their AWD torque display (because if it's in anything but cruise mode, your eyes should be on the ROAD....) and not paying attention to their surroundings.

It's become a habit i guess, but when I first get in the car, I flip to the TPM. Then I switch over to the AWD display with the outside temp and trip displaying. When I first got the car, out of curiosity or excitement, I use to love taking curvy on/off ramps to see the AWD torque distribution (I know, bad idea). Nowadays, my eyes are squarely on the road.

I would like a few changes: 1 I should not have to turn it on each time, why doesn't it come back with the same display as it had before you turned the car off. 2 Why is cruise on there? Why don't they just change the color of the cruise lamp that is already on the dash? 3 Why can't you access all of the displays when you are in Cruise? 4 The temp should be displayed elsewhere, only the driver can see it on the MID but everyone wants to know the outside temp.

I usually watch the torque display but it does not work in cruise and to get the most number of bars you have to floor it at full lock. And that means you have to get out of your seat to see around the steering wheel.
At first when I noticed the contorsions in RL's I thought it was somebody scratching themselves but I subsequently worked out that they were just trying to see the MID while turning hard.

You must have an '05. With the '06, they changed the Cruise tag to just be in the upper corner of the display, and it doesn't affect anything else.

And this, exactly, is what scares me. If you've got full-on steering lock with the gas mashed, you sure as hell shouldn't be looking at your dashboard..... much less contorting yourself out of your seat for a better view!

i have the sh-awd indicator thing with trip and temp. on my nav screen i have that info box with avg fuel economy and junk. If I need the nav then I obviously put it on but going to work every day...well, I know the route

Oh and I don't watch either. I glance at the fuel info every so often but that's pretty much it.

If I'm in inclimate weather, then the SH-AWD is on. But all other times, I like to check out my instant MPG.

Normally nothing on that display. And I wish you could display Outside Temp + Odometer on the display below it. I don't find the trip odometers all that usefull
