Does anyone know how much bigger the RL interior is say compared to a Accord.

You can get the specs on-line. I know the RL is 99.1 cubic feet (interior space vs the GS 300/430 at 102 & the Infiniti M at 105.2).

 

According to MSN, the Accord is 97.7 cu ft in interior room. The RL is slightly wider overall.

 

Be careful using cubic feet for measuring a car's roominess, instead use the four critical measurements: Headroom, legroom, hip room and shoulder room.

Looks like they're both very close, with the RL having a 2 inch advantage in front shoulder room.

IMO, both cars are quite roomy for 4 adults who arent obese.

 

I don't want to dispute the specs from Edmunds, but I question the front seat leg room numbers. I'm over 6' 2" and I have far more leg room in my RL than in my wife's Accord. Admittedly, the Accord is a 2000 and the RL is an '06 so maybe my comparison isn't quite fair. Another caveat is that the longer leg room in the RL seems to come at the expense of rear seat leg room. If I adjust the front seat so a rear passenger would have the same room, the front seat room might become similar between the 2 cars. But since I rarely have back seat passengers, the RL seat goes back a lot farther and my legs can stretch a lot more.
