Welcome to AZ.

Without any more information, there is almost zero chance we can help. Do you know what area of the car it comes from? Can you take a video? My Tundra does the same thing (very broadly described). I just live with it.

If it comes from engine, when was the last oil and filter change? Proper quality oil? Maybe oil pressure test would be a good idea? Valve clearance check?

I think I may have same issue. I just bought my 2009 RL and the third time I started it this noise happened that made my face twist up. A knocking coming from rear of engine. It only happens sometimes and it goes away in a couple of minutes . According to stealrship freah synthetic oil change 145 point inspection 🙄. Have a listen or don't. I will figure out how to get the video from my phone to hear since it will only allow
Me to attach pics

Y'all should check your heat shields around your exhaust all the way up to the engine. Sometimes they are lose when cold and once everything heats and expands, they tighten back up.

Video

I haven't had time to figure out how to post video. It's on my iPhone 5 but I can't figure out how to get it on here as I see no URL and I can't get it to go to my email. WTF. Anyone who knows how I can text it to? Or a how to for dummies?

Acurazine won't host videos. We only recently started hosting images. You will need to upload the video to YouTube or a similar site and then link the video here.
