So, the RL is gone. I got a good trade for it ($35,500) and they must have dealer swapped it out because I found it online at a place here in town that I didn't do business with...
MY RL HERE
If anyone is shopping, this is a good car, and you now basically know what they paid for it.
(Had this been the place I traded it too, I wouldn't feel right sharing this info in public, but I don't know these guys and like this community, so it may help someone)
The car is ultra clean. I had no issues.
The car that replaced it, if you're curious why I would sell a good RL, is here:
The car is just a beast.
The navigation and electronics aren't as good as the RL's, but it's close enough to justify when you throw in the 516 lb/ft of torque!

It ran about $60K with 13k miles on it.
And to your 2nd question, just after these pics, I had a 997 C2 S play with me on the way home. It wasn't even really that close even after he got a jump on me.
I love this car!

Nice car. It sure is strange to see pix of something else on the RL board.
When you're just sitting in the Mercedes, how does the interior compare to the RL? Obviously, it goes a lot faster!

I haven't planned any mods, but I have one that appears to give another 50 HP and 86 ft/lb torque for around $1200. I'm waiting until out of warranty in 2.5 years though... or at least that's my plan.
Interior comparison: The RL is nearly on par in some areas, better in others, and worse in others.
RL Advantages: Better stereo (just barely), and way better navigation. Voice recognition doesn't even exist in the E. Better interior storage for things and better cup holders!
XM - although moot point as soon as they merge. Cool LED ambient lighting. Bluetooth without having to buy a 'module'.
MB Advantage: Much better leather. Cooled seats that do a decent job. Just feels more substantial and less plastic... not that the RL is very plasticy, but relatively speaking I mean. (I love the RL interior btw). 4 zone climate control and rear a/c vents on the B pillar as well as rear center console. Active seats that bolster you through turns. A massage function on the seats lol... wife loves that. Excellent lateral support. I like the E dash better too.
Tie: sunshades. Comfortable seats for long hauls. Interior space (acura may have just a bit more). Trunk.
