Weird Problem with my FOB Key

Not too long ago, I tried opening my door with the fob key and it didnt open. I changed the battery and it still did not open the door. Then i used the physical key for the door and it opened. But then I tried to start the car with my physical key and the alarm goes off. I mean I can still drive the car but don't want to drive around with the alarm going off the whole time. I would take it to dealership but its the holidays and they closed.

Search "bad door handle"

Sounds like you may have that issue.

I mean the car wont start with the fob key inside of it as well. I think something is disconnected with fob key and the car because the little red lights on the key work but they do not respond to the car. I tried disconnecting the battery for something to reset with the codes and didnt fix it. So my question is do I have to reprogram my key to my car? And why would the alarm go off just because I put in the physical key in the ignition and turned it on?

First off, welcome. I didn't realize you werent a regular.
Second, take a breath. We already have your issue documented on this board.
Lastly, if your key FOB is not synching with the immobilizer then you will have these issues.
A quick search could lead to:
1. bad door handle
2. blown fues
3. Immobilizer/synching issues.

Now, take another breath.
If you turn your fob over you will see the resynching instructions.
When that doesnt work, look into the door handle issues documented here: https://acurazine.com/forums/search....rchid=13039897

Just checking in. Read up a little about taking apart the door panel. Took it off and disconnected the cable connecting to the door and put a new fuse in. The car works with the physical key but not the fob. Also, when i start my car my temp reading is past the H and goes into where the gas gauge. The screen still doesnt work. I wonder if i disconnected the right cable

Do you get a welcome driver 1 or 2 message when you started the car? Did you receive a low battery level warning from your car on the FOB?

So did you have the door handle connector inside the door disconnected? As long as either door handle is working properly and not blowing a fuse, you should see your key fob (led) light up when you go to touch the driver or passenger side handle and the rear trunk handle (obviously whichever handle is disconnected it won't sense your touch). If not, your keyless access control unit may not be sending out the signal for the LF antenna built into the door handle, see even after replacing the shorted out handle, it still may not work
