Not sure if this is normal but today I pulled up to a parking spot with my driver side window down, shifted to reverse and heard a weird noise. Can't really describe it, but it was somewhat loud. I did some testing and it only happens shifting from D to R.

Now I know there's usually there's a sound when shifting to reverse, but has anyone noticed any unusual sound shifting to R from D?

 

is the power mirror that moves when going into reverse getting bound up? Sometimes they can get a little noisy.

 

JPSMAN, thanks for the response. Turns out that it was the driver side mirror that folds down when in reverse. Didn't know I set it to the driver side. OOPS!
