It helps to elaborate your issue outside of a headline title.
Start with the brake switch under the dash.

Well I have a 2005 RL with navigation only.
There is a weak output of the brake and 3rd brake light when the brake pedal is pressed. I know for a fact that the LED's are fine since when I've followed the car, they sometimes light up at full brightness, but this only happens 1 out of 8 full braking instances.
007spy, I'm confused about the part numbers,
36750-SMA-013 isn't listed as being compatible with the RL at all
36750-SJA-013 is listed as being compatible
Should I go with 36750-SJA-013?
Thanks!
