Zaino here, but FYI... it's not a wax.

Zaino mayno

Zaino is a rip. It costs an arm and a leg, takes a day to apply and its essentially the same as a variety of poly's in the market, some of which, are easy to apply and actually last significantly longer. I use black magic poly. Shines great, lasts a long time and makes essentailly no dust. If the the just shined, wet, look is essential, simply use Meguiar's spray detailer on top of it any time, it takes a whole 5 minutes for that.
Another total crap is zymol, the only thing special about it is that it smells like ripe bannanas

One thing about black magic, when washing your car, use a non-wax wash liquid. Any sort of wax residue makes it much harder to remove.

Huh? Its a piece of cake to put on and costs about $25 for the two needed liquids. I can do a car in an hour. I used to detail cars as a hobby when i worked at a Benz dealership. I would do 7-8 on Saturday and 7-8 on Sunday and used Meguires.....i wish i had zaino then.

Remember one of the first infomercials ever made for Auri? Well, that's the stuff I still use today. I've tried a bunch of others including all the others mentioned here except Zaino and none are as easy to apply, look as good, or are nearly as long lasting as Auri.

P.S. No I don't set my car on fire or drip acid on it or anything like that, though the claims I've tested (lasts a year, easier to apply, looks great) are true so I don't doubt the more outlandish claims.

Just take your car to Ziebart and get their diamond gloss treatment. Had all 3 of my car done and all I do is just wash and dry. Since the application has been done, the cars have looked better than new.

I was wondering if anyone out there could clarify the difference between the two and give suggestions as to which is the better way to go. Also, I would like to know how often I should have this done, and exactly what I should expect after the job is finished. For example, how long will finish last? Any special precautions I should take / not have done / products to avoid.

I have been using the california mop (red feather duster looking thing I purchased from AutoZone) on my car between car washes and it has been working wonders thus far as it has wax in it.
Price is fair compared to where I live, machine buf will bring out a brighter luster, just make sure the person using the buffer does not exceed 1300 rpm or the paint will burn, personnaly I use mother's hand way one every two months and turtel wax spray & shine between, paint looks great except for the road chips of which are to be expected living in the SF bay area, don't forget to wash the dust remover one in awhile otherwise they build up too much dirt in them and will scratch your clear coat

Light scratch all over the car

My dealer put paint sealent on both exterior and interior. The other day I washed the car(black Ext) by myself. But I realized there is light scratch(like a comb style) all over the car after the wash. I didn't use high quality soft cloth to wipe the water out. I recall I used the same cloth to wipe my MDX but no such scratches noticed.

Is the scratch coming from the sealent? Can I put wax to clean out the scratch?
Or maybe I need buff using the sealent.

Call the dealer find out what was put on your car by whom. Contact them and tell the company or the istaller the issue. See what they want you to do. If not happy then I would recontact Acura dealer and explain why not happy.
