fog lamp

Both my fog lamp lenses are broken. Has anyone replaced their own? Dealer wants $500.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT REPLACEMENT BUT CHECK THE PRICES FOR NEW HERE http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/ IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUT 2 NEW ONES AND REPLACE YOURSELF. I WOULD LOOK AT PUTTING 3M CLEAR PROTECTION OVER THE LENS

How did they get broken? Do you regularly drive on gravel roads behind large trucks?

Yes, always had lights done to all my cars. Have it done when 3m bra added. saves the headlights and fogs from road debris. These new lights are not cheap

Ditto what everyone else has been saying. I had two headlights break on my Land Cruiser at $400 a piece. Xpel kit cost me $50 for the complete set. No brainer for both cars.

The first week of owning my '06, my drivers side fog lamp split (no rock chip seen on lens),,,I called my sales rep and explained and asked if this would be covered under warranty,,,he told me yes,,,Just had it replaced at dealer @ no charge,,,

Question,,,where does one go for "protective covering" for the head lamps and fog lamps,,,yellow pages, etc?,,,

Thanks.

thanks for advice on 3m protection, but need to replace them first
as for driving on gravel behind trucks - no I don't. Just bad luck on normal roads I guess.

Why so expensive?. The Xpel ones from the link I provided were $50 shipped.

My Land Cruiser has had them on for close to three years. Absolutely no discoloring or fading.

*** Edit ***

Nevermind. you were referring to the foglights, not the film. My bad.

I've just ordered the X-pel headlight/fog light protection for my RL. It sounds like a good product. Thanks.
