Washer Fluid trickling

Washer Fluid trickling
I have an 05 RL and it's funny, when it gets below freezing, the fluid comes out very weakly. In fact a very weak little trickle. When it gets above freezing it seems to work just fine. I know it sounds very odd, but it's true. If I only have to wash my windowing in my heated garage, it would be fine.
I've changed the fliud to the -50 stuff, checked for leaks and plugged lines and it still the same thing. Is this a commom problem or am I special and have to replace the pump?

Most likely, you still have some of the old "summer" fluid sitting in the lines/pumps and it freezes. That, or the "-50 stuff" was not the real thing.
I've seen some auto parts shops sell real junk when it comes to washer fluids.
On a side note, i was never impressed with the washer spay on my 2006 RL. I have adjusted the jets multiple times but they are still pretty weak compared to other cars. It's a shame. Dealer could not help either, since they consider this normal.
Same story on my old 2004 TSX.

Another thing I notice - when the car is moving at speed, the washer fluid spray is weaker than when the car is stationary. There may be a good reason for this though - in case you have the moon roof open when you are driving, a strong spray may allow some of the fluid to get in the cabin.
