After trying out my new scanner and running a full scan, I was rewarded with the amber VSA warning triangle light (with the exclamation point) on. When I drive over 30mph the “VSA” light comes on also. When running another scan I get a 84-1 code with a fairly vague “sensor problem” message.

After searching the YouTubes I found various fixes for Honda’s and other Acura’s. Nothing for the 2nd gen RL. I found this video about how to fix it on an Accord.
I tried it and IT WORKED. No more light. I shudder to think what the dealer would have charged me to fix it. I hope this helps someone on this forum.
