VSA issues in frigid cold?

Twice this weekend I've had my car parked outside for hours with temps well below zero. When I came back to my car, the VSA indicator was on and I was getting the "Check VSA system" in the multi-info display. I turned off the car both times, and then started up again... the warnings then vanished. Anyone else have this issue?

Can happen if ice forms on the sensor. Also if you park on a slippery surface that immediately activates the VSA it will also go off. Should not be a problem. Once I slipped into a snow bank covering the entire assembly with snow. It gave the VSA issues for a few minutes.
